Aaron Starmer, born in northern California in 1976, is an American author of young adult novels, known for the Riverman Trilogy and Spontaneous. A 2016 report said Awesomeness Films had bought the rights to adapt Spontaneous, and the film of the same name came out in 2020. Starmer co-wrote a camping book with Catharine Wells and Timothy Starmer and appeared at the Texas Book Festival in 2016.
