Ann Hood is an American novelist, short story writer and memoirist. Her work counts fourteen novels, four memoirs, a short story collection, one young adult novel and the ten-book Treasure Chest series for middle readers, inside a catalogue of 35 titles running from Somewhere Off the Coast of Maine in 1987 to The Stolen Child in 2024.
