Liang debuted in October 2022 with If You Could See the Sun, which was optioned by Bound Entertainment with Liang attached as an executive producer. A Song to Drown Rivers (2024) marked Liang's adult debut and became a Good Morning America book club pick. Twelve titles are catalogued, with The Lost Life of Sylvia Song due in 2027, and the subjects include fantasy, magical realism and enemies to lovers.
