Barbara D'Amato, born Barbara Steketee on April 10, 1938, is an American mystery author who has won both the Agatha and Anthony awards. The Cat Marsala Mystery series features a woman journalist in Chicago, and the catalogue includes Hardball (1989), Hard Tack (1991) and Hard Christmas (1995).
