Boris Johnson is a British politician and writer, born 19 June 1964. Johnson led the Conservative Party and served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 2019 to 2022, after terms as Foreign Secretary (2016 to 2018) and Mayor of London (2008 to 2016). Johnson represented Henley in Parliament (2001 to 2008) and later Uxbridge and South Ruislip (2015 to 2023). Johnson studied at Eton College and Balliol College, Oxford, joined The Daily Telegraph in 1989 and edited The Spectator from 1999 to 2005.
