Chris Heath is a British writer and journalist from Evesham in the West Midlands, educated at Rugby School and at Cambridge University in social and political science. Heath wrote regularly for Smash Hits through the 1980s and early 1990s, then reported for GQ, The Atlantic, Esquire and Vanity Fair. A GQ article on the 2011 animal escape in Zanesville, Ohio won Heath the 2013 National Magazine Award for Reporting.
