Jack Carr is the pen name of George Petersen, an American novelist born on 3 July 1975 who served as a Navy SEAL sniper and also works as a screenwriter, producer and podcaster. Carr writes the James Reece thrillers, which open with The Terminal List (2018); that novel became a television series starring Chris Pratt, with a second season and a spin-off starring Taylor Kitsch. Targeted: Beirut marks a move into non-fiction, and The Fourth Option is a thriller series co-written with M.P. Woodward.
