Jimmy Santiago Baca, born 2 January 1952, is an American poet, memoirist and screenwriter from New Mexico. Prisons, Mexican American life and the land run through the poetry, from Martin & Meditations on the South Valley (1987) and Black Mesa Poems (1989) to Immigrants in Our Own Land.
