The Marsh King's Daughter (2017) sold into 25 languages, was named one of the year's best thrillers by Library Journal, took Suspense Magazine's Crimson Scribe award, and was filmed in 2023 by Neil Burger with Daisy Ridley, Ben Mendelsohn and Garrett Hedlund.
