Kerry Wilkinson, born in Bath in 1980, is a British author and sports journalist. D.S. Jessica Daniel is his longest-running detective, introduced in Locked In (2011); Andrew Hunter, Whitecliff Bay Mysteries, Silver Blackthorn and Sleepover follow, the fourth of them science fiction. Ten Birthdays took the Romantic Novelists' Association award for Young Adult Novel of the Year in 2018, making Wilkinson one of the first two men to win a RoNA award in the organisation's 58-year history, and Close To You won an International Thriller Writers award for best ebook original.
