Kim Newman, born 31 July 1959, is an English film critic, journalist and fiction writer. Newman's work covers film history, horror fiction and alternative history, and Newman traces the first two interests to watching Tod Browning's Dracula at age eleven. Awards include the Bram Stoker Award, the International Horror Guild Award and the BSFA Award.
