Lee Brook writes police procedurals around two detectives, George Beaumont and Isabella Wood, with Beaumont's books split between his sergeant years and his time as a DI. Thirty-one titles have appeared since 2022, six of them in that first year: The Miss Murderer, The Blonde Delilah, The Bone Saw Ripper, The Cross Flatts Snatcher, The Middleton Woods Stalker and The Naughty List.
