Lisa Patton is an American author, born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, and a graduate of the University of Alabama. Her first novel, Whistlin' Dixie in a Nor'easter (2009), sends Leelee Satterfield and her husband Baker from Memphis to Vermont to buy and run an inn. The Dixie books continue with Yankee Doodle Dixie (2011) and Southern as a Second Language (2013), and Rush (2018) and Kissing the Sky (2026) complete a catalogue of five.
