Mark Fisher was a British writer, critic and cultural theorist who blogged as k-punk from the early 2000s and taught in the Department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths, University of London. Fisher's books include Capitalist Realism (2009) and Ghosts of My Life (2014). The writing covered radical politics, music and popular culture, and appeared in The Wire, Fact, New Statesman and Sight & Sound. Fisher co-founded Zero Books and later Repeater Books.
