Mark Oshiro is an American author, editor and activist based in Atlanta, Georgia, born on October 23, 1983. Oshiro writes young adult and middle-grade fiction about identity, belonging and family. Anger Is a Gift (2018) won the 2019 Schneider Family Book Award and was a 2019 Lambda Literary Award nominee.
