Martin Sixsmith, born 24 September 1954, is a British author and radio and television presenter who has worked mainly for the BBC. Sixsmith advised the Labour government and the BBC comedy The Thick of It. The Lost Child of Philomena Lee (2009) became the basis for the 2013 film Philomena, with Steve Coogan playing Sixsmith.
