Medora Sale was the pen name for detective novels by Caroline Medora Sale Roe (1943 to November 7, 2021), a Canadian novelist who wrote historical mysteries as Caroline Roe. Born in Windsor, Ontario, Roe earned a BA and a PhD in Medieval Studies at the University of Toronto. Before writing full time, Roe taught at Branksome Hall and worked in advertising.
