Nina Simon is an American exhibition curator, museum director and writer, and the founder of the non-profit OF/BY/FOR ALL. Two books came out of the museum work: The Participatory Museum (2010) and The Art of Relevance (2016), on engagement, public relations and the social role of museums. Simon then turned to fiction with Mother-Daughter Murder Night in 2023, a New York Times bestseller and a Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick, and My Sister Is Going to Kill Me followed in 2026. Simon ran the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History from 2012 to 2019.
