Pamela Sargent, born March 20, 1948, is an American feminist, science fiction author and editor holding an MA in classical philosophy, and a Nebula Award winner. A Sargent trilogy about the terraforming of Venus predates Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars books and draws comparison with them, and alternate history is a second strand of the work. As editor, Sargent assembled the Women of Wonder anthologies on the place of women in science fiction history and ran the Nebula Award Showcase from 1995 to 1997. Four Star Trek novels came out of a collaboration with George Zebrowski, who is credited on 2 of the titles listed here. The catalogue holds 30 books, from Cloned Lives (1976) to Season of the Cats (2015), with Watchstar and Seed the two series on record.
