Robin Hobb is one of two pen names of Margaret Astrid Lindholm Ogden, an American writer of speculative fiction born on March 5, 1952; the other is Megan Lindholm. As Hobb she writes fantasy set in the Realm of the Elderlings, made up of the Farseer, Liveship Traders and Tawny Man trilogies, the Rain Wild Chronicles and the Fitz and the Fool trilogy.
