Steven Brust is an American fantasy and science fiction author of Hungarian descent, born on November 23, 1955. The Vlad Taltos novels, about an assassin from a disdained human minority on the world of Dragaera, are the work Brust is best known for. The Incrementalists (2013) and the sequel The Skill of Our Hands (2017) were written with Skyler White.
