Toni Jordan, born in Sydney in 1966, is a Melbourne-based novelist who teaches at the Faber Academy. Her debut, Addition (2008), sold internationally and was long listed for the Miles Franklin Award; a feature film of it followed in 2024, starring Teressa Palmer and Joe Dempsie. Eight books are catalogued through to Tenderfoot (2025), among them Fall Girl (2010), Nine Days (2012), The Fragments (2019) and two novels about the Schnabel family, Dinner with the Schnabels (2022) and Prettier if She Smiled More (2023).
