Cormoran Strike is a crime fiction series by J.K. Rowling, published under the pen name Robert Galbraith. The novels follow private detective Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott, Strike's business partner. Eight books appeared between The Cuckoo's Calling (2013) and The Hallmarked Man, released on 2 September 2025, out of a planned ten. A ninth novel, Sleep Tight, Evangeline, was announced on 13 February 2026. Subjects include England, murder, missing persons, veterans and the Afghan War. As of February 2024 the Strike books had sold over 20 million copies in more than 50 countries and 43 languages.
