Lord John Grey is Diana Gabaldon's spin-off from the Outlander novels, historical mystery built around a secondary character from that series. Lord John Grey is a soldier and a nobleman, homosexual at a time when that carried the risk of the gallows, and the books set him against the Seven Years' War and London.
