Scott Pilgrim is a graphic novel series written and drawn by the Canadian cartoonist Bryan Lee O'Malley. Six digest-sized black-and-white volumes appeared from Oni Press between August 2004 and July 2010, later reissued by Fourth Estate and again in full-colour hardbacks coloured by Nathan Fairbairn from 2012 to 2015. Scott Pilgrim himself is a Toronto slacker and part-time bass player who starts dating a high school student after a bad breakup. Coming of age, martial arts and good against evil carry the story.
