Reichs holds the title of professor emerita of anthropology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and the television series Bones drew on Reichs's work. Déjà Dead (1997) is the first catalogued book, followed by Death du Jour (1999), Deadly Decisions (2000) and Fatal Voyage (2001).
