Brendan O’Carroll, born 17 September 1955, is an Irish writer, actor, comedian, director and producer. O’Carroll plays the matriarch Agnes Brown on stage and in the BBC and RTÉ sitcom Mrs. Brown's Boys, and took the Irish Film and Television Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015.
