Gavin Scott, born 1950, is an English novelist and broadcaster whose screen credits include the Emmy-winning mini-series The Mists of Avalon, along with Small Soldiers, The Borrowers and Legend of Earthsea. Scott spent a decade making films for British television and wrote more than two hundred documentaries and short films for the BBC and commercial channels. A first United States assignment took Scott to developing and scripting The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles for George Lucas.
