Dominick Dunne
11 books
Dominick Dunne (1925-2009) came to fiction after a career producing films, among them The Boys in the Band (1970) and The Panic in Needle Park (1971). The murder of his daughter Dominique in 1982 turned Dunne's writing toward the way wealth and high society meet the courts, a subject he pursued in novels and in reporting for Vanity Fair. Eleven catalogued books run from The Winners (1982) to Too Much Money (2009), with murder trials, celebrity and upper-class New York families as the constant material.
