Louisa Young is a British novelist who also writes songs, short stories, biography and journalism. Two series stand under her name: Evangeline Gower and My Dear I Wanted to Tell You. The non-fiction includes A Great Task of Happiness (1995), a life of Kathleen Scott, The Book of the Heart (2002), and You Left Early (2018), an account of her relationship with the composer Robert Lockhart. Five further books were written with her daughter, Isabel Adomakoh Young, under the shared name Zizou Corder. Twelve titles are catalogued under Young's own name, reaching The Golden Hours (2026).
