Martin Amis was an English novelist, essayist, memoirist, screenwriter and critic who died in 2023. Money (1984) and London Fields (1989) are his best known novels; Time's Arrow was shortlisted for the Booker Prize in 1991 and Yellow Dog longlisted in 2003, and the memoir Experience won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize.
