Raymond Buckland (1934–2017), craft name Robat, was an English writer on Wicca and the occult and a high priest in the Gardnerian and Seax-Wica traditions. Witchcraft from the Inside (1971) records Buckland as the first person in the United States to openly practise Wicca, and Buckland brought the Gardnerian lineage to the country in 1964 after initiation in Britain by Monique Wilson.
