Rod Duncan, born in Wales in 1962, is a British writer who grew up in Aberystwyth and settled in Leicestershire, where he lectures at De Montfort University. Identified as dyslexic at eight, Duncan went on to take a mining geology degree at the University of Leicester, then spent years from 1989 in Taiwan running an environmental education programme for the Baha'i community before returning in 1993. Three series are catalogued to the name: Riot Trilogy, Fall of the Gas-Lit Empire and Map of Unknown Things.
