Ron Rozelle is an American author, newspaper columnist and educator. Rozelle grew up in Oakwood, Texas and graduated from Sam Houston State University, then taught English at Palestine High School and later at Brazoswood High School in Lake Jackson, Texas. Sam Houston State University's College of Education named Rozelle its Distinguished Educator of the Year in 2017, and the 2022 Summerlee Book Prize for Creative Writing followed.
