Wolf Haas, born on 14 December 1960, is an Austrian writer of crime fiction. Haas is most widely known for the novels about detective Simon Brenner, and four of them have been adapted as films. The prizes Haas has won include the Deutscher Krimipreis, the German crime fiction prize.
