Wayward Children is a sequence of fantasy novellas by Seanan McGuire, set at a boarding school for children who found doorways into magical worlds and were sent back against their wishes. Volumes alternate between the school itself and the worlds the children left. The sequence took the 2022 Hugo Award for Best Series.
