Brother Andrew is the English-language name of Andrew van der Bijl (1928-2022), a Dutch Christian missionary who founded the organization Open Doors. During the Cold War, van der Bijl carried Bibles and Christian literature into communist countries, which earned the nickname God's Smuggler. God's Smuggler (1964) is also the first of 22 catalogued books. Later titles include The Ethics of Smuggling (1974), God's Secret Agent (1983) and Prayer Works (1990). Fearless by Faith (2023) is the most recent.
