Nick Harkaway is the pen name of Nicholas Cornwell, a British novelist and commentator born 26 November 1972. The Gone-Away World (2008) opens the catalogue of 11 books, which runs to Sleeper Beach (2025). Angelmaker (2012) was nominated for the 2013 Arthur C. Clarke Award, and later novels include Tigerman (2014), Gnomon (2017), Titanium Noir (2023) and Karla's Choice (2024). The Blind Giant (2012) is a non-fiction study of human life in the digital world. Cornwell has also published two novels as Aidan Truhen.
